UV Tanning FAQs

How old do you have to be to tan in Wisconsin?

Wisconsin law requires you to be at least 16 years old to use a tanning bed. If you’re 16 or 17, a parent or guardian just needs to sign a quick consent form before your first session.

Are there limits on how often I can tan?

Yes! Wisconsin law says you cannot tan more than once in a 24-hour period. This is to keep your skin safe and healthy.

Do I have to wear protective eyewear?

Always! Protective eyewear is a must by law, and it keeps your eyes safe. We provide sanitized eyewear at every visit, or you can bring your own approved pair if you like.

Do I really need to use lotion when I tan?

YES! We highly recommend it. Lotions keep your skin soft, hydrated, and help accelerate the tanning process so you see results faster. They also give you a more even, longer-lasting glow—and they smell amazing! We’ve got a full selection in the salon so you can find the one that fits your style.

How often should I come in to tan?

It depends on your goals, but a good starting point is 2–3 times a week to build your base, then 1–2 times a week to maintain it. If you’re not sure what’s best, just ask—we’re always happy to help!

Why should I try Red Light Therapy?

Because it feels incredible and it’s great for your skin! Red Light Therapy can boost collagen, reduce fine lines, calm redness, and give you that fresh, healthy glow. Some guests pair it with tanning, while others love it as a relaxing stand-alone treatment.

Should I tan if I’m pregnant?

Important Health Note

No, you should not use UV tanning while pregnant. Doctor authorization is required before using any of our tanning equipment. Safer alternatives during pregnancy include spray tans and Red Light Therapy for a glow that feels good without UV exposure.

How does 24/7 access work?
